St Stephen’s College has been nurturing students’ music creativity through the DSS Creativity Programme since 2008. Students have been equipped with skills and techniques in creating songs and instrumental music with visiting local composers. Our past and current tutors include Dr Steve Ho, Mr Cheuk-yin Ng, Mr Alex Lau, Mr. Jim Lau, Dr Ada Lai and Miss Cynthia Wong.

In addition to cultivating skills for writing songs and music, our Creative Music programme provides opportunities for our promising student composers to create music for actual live performances such as Schools Creative Music Showcase, GalaMusic - School Creative Works, GalaMusica - School Chamber Compositions and the original musical theatres staged on our triennial grand concerts, OUT OF PLACE (2016) and PORCELAIN DOLLS (2019).
