Have you ever noticed the wide variety of birds in our city? In collaboration with the artists from Project CROW, students from Ebenezer School and St Stephen’s College created Feathers and Wings.
First, groups of sighted and visually impaired students explored the birds in their natural surroundings, using their voices to mimic bird calls and interact with the birds around them. They then created life-sized 3D paper sculptures of their favourite birds and came together to exchange their feelings and reflections on nature. All the birds species featured in this exhibition can be found in Hong Kong, from the common sparrow and red-whiskered bulbul to the wild brown wood owl and yellow-crested cockatoo.
